The proposed action, Valhalla Gas Exploration and Appraisal Program was referred to the Minister for Environment on 16 September 2024 (2024/10006). It was determined that additional information (Preliminary Documentation) is required to inform the assessment and a decision on the Project under the EPBC Act. You are invited to make a comment on the draft Preliminary Documentation for the proposed action.
To make your submission as helpful as possible, please explain:
- why you believe the proposed action is or is not a controlled action under the EPBC Act
- identify which protected matters outlined in the Preliminary Documentation you consider may be impacted.
- describe how the proposed action could affect those matters and indicate which specific components of the action may contribute to those impacts.
- where possible, include the sources of any key information that support your views.
- if you believe any part of the referral information is misleading or incorrect, please identify the issue, explain why you consider it inaccurate, and provide corrected information where available.
